Budget of Ayushman Bharat and PM Kisan Yojana
A provision of Rs 9,406 crore was made for the Ayushman Bharat scheme in the financial year 2025-26. Which has been increased to Rs 9,500 crore in 2026-27. That means there has been an increase of about 1 percent. At the same time, Rs 63,500 crore was allocated last year under the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
This year, no change has been made in this amount by the Central Government. This year also the same amount has been allocated as last year.
Focus on Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana and VB-Jiram
Rs 2,03,000 crore was given by the government in last year’s budget for the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana. Which has been increased to Rs 2,27,429 crore in this year’s budget 2026. There has been an increase of about 12 percent.
At the same time, the budget for VB-Jiram (MNREGA) was Rs 86,000 crore last year, which has increased to Rs 95,692 crore this year. An increase of about 11 percent has been recorded in this scheme.
Allocation of Jal Jeevan Mission and Samagra Shiksha Yojana
The government had allocated Rs 67,000 crore for the Jal Jeevan Mission in the financial year 2025-26. In today’s budget it has been increased to Rs 67,670 crore. There has been a slight increase of about 1 percent.
At the same time, Samagra Shiksha Yojana had received Rs 41,250 crore last year, which has increased to Rs 42,100 crore this year. The budget of this scheme has been increased by about 2 percent.
