The buffalo is completely safe, and the news of its death turned out to be just a rumour.
The news of death of a buffalo that came to Pushkar fair turned out to be false!
Pushkar Fair of Rajasthan has always been famous for its unique animals, camels, horses and cows. This time a special buffalo was in the news, whose name is “Anmol”. It is said and being said that the price of this buffalo has been estimated to be around Rs 21 to 23 crores. People and tourists coming to the fair came from far and wide to see this buffalo. But suddenly some videos and posts started going viral on social media in which it was claimed that “a buffalo worth Rs 21 crore has died”. After this, hashtags like “#BuffaloDiesAtPushkarMela” started trending on Twitter (X), Facebook and Instagram.

Buffalo owner and fair administration cleared
However, now local sources and cattle farmers associated with the fair have denied these reports. The organizers of the Pushkar fair say that “Buffalo Anmol is completely healthy, and the news of his death is false.” He said that the viral video could be old or edited, which was used to spread sensation. Along with this, the owner of the buffalo also issued a statement and said that “Anmol is healthier than before and is currently resting.”

Users heaved a sigh of relief
After this clarification, people heaved a sigh of relief on social media. Many users started trolling those accounts which had spread false information. Some fact-checking websites also confirmed that the source of the viral video is dubious and there is no evidence that the dead animal shown in the video was actually “Precious”.
