The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has targeted the BJP on bulldozer action in the national capital Delhi. Former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Atishi said that the BJP government in Delhi is going to run bulldozers on two more slums. He said in Delhi on Friday (25 July) that preparations have started to run bulldozers in Shalimar Bagh and Rohtas Nagar. People have received notices.
Atishi said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi promised that every slum living in Delhi will get a house. Cards were given to the poor all over Delhi, where the slum is there. PM Modi himself promised that until the house is found, not a single slum will be broken.
He said, “Ever since the BJP has formed four engine governments, bulldozers are being run at the homes of the poor of Delhi one after the other. The truth of BJP has come to light. Actually, they were saying that where the slum is, they will make it a ground.
Atishi mentioned notice
He said, “In the recent past, Bulldozers ran in Madrasi camp, landless camp, Wazirpur, Jailorwala Bagh, Gokulpur, Madipur. Now preparations have started to run bulldozers in two more slums Shalimar Bagh and Rohtas Nagar. ”
Atishi showed the notice at the press conference, saying, “Notice has been put in Indira Camp in CM Rekha Gupta’s Shalimar Bagh. Bulldozers will be run on this slum within 15 days. CM repeatedly says that not a single bulldozer will work. This slum was given in 1990. Cards were given, tokens were given. People for 35 years, these poor are living here. Now this government is going to run bulldozers. ”
Atishi warns of movement
He said, “Similarly, notice has been imposed on the slum of Lal Bagh in GT Road Martyrdom. On 31 July, a bulldozer will be run on this slum. People have 1990 allotment cards. Till date no government has run a bulldozer. But ever since the government of four engines came, bulldozers are being run. ”

Former CM Atishi said, “I want to tell the BJP that the power of the poor should not be considered less. His hard work leads to Delhi. These people just drive. Work in homes. These people who run Delhi, these people will work to stop Delhi. People will take to the streets. You are fighting the battle of the poor. To save these slums, the road will raise voice in Parliament.
