There has been a sensation in the area due to firing at the house of a writer-director and a struggling model in Oshiwara area of ​​Mumbai. The firing took place in the evening in Nalanda Society within the limits of Oshiwara police station, where an unknown person fired towards the building and fled from the spot. According to sources, Neeraj Kumar Mishra (45), who lives on the second floor of Nalanda Society, is a writer and director by profession, while Prateek Baid (29), who lives on the fourth floor, is a struggling model. After the firing, bullet marks were found in the flats on the second and fourth floors.

Police started investigation in the case
As soon as information about the incident was received, Oshivara police reached the spot and surrounded the entire premises and started investigation. At present it is not clear who fired the bullet and who was targeted. DCP Zone-9 Dixit Gedam said, “One bullet each was found in the second and fourth floor flats of Nalanda Building, Oshivara. There is no casualty in this incident. The matter is being further investigated.”

Police are now scanning CCTV footage
Paramjit Singh Dahiya, Additional Commissioner of Police, West Region of Mumbai Police, said, “Two projectiles have been found on the ground on the second and fourth floors of the building. Bullet marks have been found on the wall and a wooden case. The investigation is ongoing from every aspect.” The police is scanning the footage of the CCTV cameras installed in the building and is trying to identify the accused on the basis of technical evidence. At present, police teams are busy searching for the accused and the matter is being investigated seriously.
