Border Security Force (BSF) has issued a notification for 3,588 posts of Constable Tradesmen. If you are 10th pass and want to serve the country by joining the army, then this opportunity is very special for you. In this recruitment, 3,406 posts for men and 182 posts for women are reserved. The online application process has started from 26 July 2025 and the last date has been kept on 24 August 2025.
For this recruitment, candidates must have passed 10th from a recognized board. Along with this, the related trades such as cook, washer, barber, sweeper, teller, plumber, painter etc. should have ITI certificate or work experience.
The age of the candidates should be between 18 and 25 years on 24 August 2025. However, reserved classes will be given a relaxation in age limit as per rules. Scheduled Castes/Tribes will get 5 years and OBC will get 3 years exemption. Women and disabled candidates have also been given relief in age and application fee.
This will be selected
The selection process will first have a physical efficiency test (PET) and Physical Standards Testing (PST). After this, the candidates will have to take a written test of 100 marks in which objective type questions will be asked. After this, there will be a test of related trade and finally the final selection will be done through document verification and medical test.
How much salary?
The pay scale for this recruitment will be from 21,700 to 69,100 under Level-3. Along with this, all allowances given by the central government will also be found.

Application fee will have to be paid so much
Talking about the application fee, candidates of general, OBC and EWS class will have to pay a fee of Rs 100. While the application for SC, ST, women and disabled class is completely free.
