A total of 179 vacant posts are included in this recruitment drive, which includes one post of Director of Instruction, one post of Dean, three posts of President, 15 posts of Professor, 56 posts of Associate Professor and 103 posts of Assistant Professor. This means that jobs have emerged at almost every level of teaching and leadership.

Now let’s talk about who can apply for these posts. For Director of Instruction, the candidate must have a doctoral degree in subjects like Agricultural Science, Horticulture, Home Science, Agricultural Engineering, Fisheries or Veterinary Science. Similarly, for the posts of Dean, Professor and Chairman, PhD degree in the relevant subject, which includes related basic science, is required. For the posts of Veterinary Science, candidates should have B.V.Sc. And A.H. Degree should be with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade, also Master’s degree with 55% marks is also required.

For Associate Professor, a doctoral degree in the relevant subject is required and experience in teaching or research is also sought. Whereas for the post of Assistant Professor, the candidate should have a Master’s degree with minimum 55 percent marks. Apart from this, it is mandatory to have PhD in the subject and publication of research papers in recognized journals.

Now if we talk about the age limit, then the maximum age for Assistant Professor has been kept at 40 years. This limit has been fixed at 50 years for Associate Professor and 55 years for Professor. As per government rules, age relaxation will be given to reserved categories.

Talking about application fee, no fee will be charged from SC, ST, PWBD and women candidates. The application fee for general and OBC category candidates has been kept at Rs 1000.
