Punjab National Bank (PNB), one of the largest public sector banks of the country, has announced recruitment for thousands of posts. This is a golden opportunity for the youth who want to make a career in the banking sector.
PNB has recruited a total of 5138 posts under apprenticeship. The online application process for this recruitment has started. Interested and eligible candidates can apply within the due date. It has been clearly stated by the bank that applications will be accepted only through online medium.
When can you apply?
The application process for this recruitment has started from 8 February 2026 and candidates can fill the online form till 24 February 2026. Therefore, all the candidates who want to apply should not wait for the last date and fill the form on time.
What is the educational qualification?
The candidate must have passed graduation from a recognized university or institute. The graduation result should be declared before 31 December 2025. This opportunity is especially for those youth who have recently completed their studies and want to gain experience in the banking sector. Its minimum age is 20 years and maximum age is 28 years. Candidates belonging to reserved category (SC/ST/OBC etc.) will be given age relaxation as per government rules.
How many posts will be recruited
A total of 5138 posts will be filled in different states and union territories of the country. Category wise distribution of posts includes General 2383 posts, OBC 1110 posts, EWS 464 posts, SC 887 posts and ST 294 posts.
what will be the application fees
While filling the form, candidates will have to deposit the fees as per their category. Applications will not be accepted without fees. General/OBC/EWS (Male) will be Rs 944, General/OBC/EWS (Female) Rs 708 and SC/ST/Divyang will be Rs 236. According to some information, a fee of Rs 472 has also been mentioned for disabled candidates, so please see the official notification for the correct fee.

4. Click on the application link.
5. Register by clicking on Login 1st time.
6. Fill all the requested information correctly.
7. Deposit the fees as per your category. Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.
