Right behind Ambani is Lakshmi Mittal, CEO and Chairman of ArcelorMittal, the world’s largest steel producing company. His net worth will increase by approximately $12 billion in 2025, taking his total wealth to approximately $31 billion. Mittal is currently the 70th richest person in the world. This increase in his net worth happened when the global steel market improved and investor interest in big metal producers returned.
After this, the name of Sunil Mittal, founder of Bharti Enterprises was mentioned. His net worth will increase by approximately $6 billion to $29 billion in 2025. Bharti Airtel shares rose by about 31 percent during the year. In the second quarter of the financial year 2025, the consolidated net profit of his telecom company increased by 89 percent to Rs 6,792 crore.
These businessmen including Gautam Adani also benefited
During this period, Gautam Adani also benefited. With a jump of approximately $5.9 billion, his net worth increased to approximately $84 billion. With this, Adani remains the second richest Indian after Mukesh Ambani. Apart from these, the wealth of Kumar Mangalam Birla increased by about 4 billion dollars in the year 2025. Now his total wealth is approximately 22 billion dollars.
Uday Kotak is also not behind in terms of net worth. He added more than $2 billion to his wealth in 2025, increasing his net worth to nearly $16 billion. With this, he has joined the list of top-10 richest Indians.
In the list, Vikram Lal, founder of automobile giant Eicher Motors, Nusli Wadia of Wadia Group, Indigo co-founder Rahul Bhatia, Torrent Group chairman Sameer Mehta also earned a good amount in the year 2025.
