Byd marches ahead tesla to secure first position in Electric Car Market. Elon musk

BYD’s sales have increased rapidly in the last few years. Last year, byd has overtaken Billionaire Elon Musk’s Tesla in a revenue received from cells of electric cars. The Chinese company has achieved a revenue of about $ 107 billion last year. In comparison, Tesla’s revenue is about $ 98 billion.

BYD ranks first in the world’s biggest and most competitive China market in the world. Along with this, its sales have also increased in big international markets like Europe. It plans to increase manufacturing to more than 2 million units annually. It sells both electric and hybrid cars. Tesla’s portfolio includes only electric cars. Tesla is ready to start business in India. The company’s first showroom in the country may open at Brandra Kurla Complex (BKC) in Mumbai. The company has taken a space of about 4,000 square feet in BKC’s Maker Maxity Building. In the second half of this year, the company can start business in the country.

Byd is planned to set up a factory in India. Electric cars of the company are being sold in the country. BYD plans to set up a factory near Hyderabad in Telangana. Recently, a media report stated that an investment of about 85,000 crore rupees can be made in this factory. The capacity of this factory may be manufacturing an annual six million vehicles in the next few years. The company’s battery manufacturing unit is estimated to be 20 GWH. The installation of factory in the country will make the company easy to reduce its EV prices and increase the share in this market.

Last month, Byd launched Sealion 7 Electric SUV in India. It will be available in two variants – Premium RWD and Performance AWD. Its prices are between about Rs 48.90 lakh to Rs 54.90 lakh (ex-showroom). Recently booking for Sealion 7 was started for Rs 70,000. The design of this electric SUV is similar to the company’s ‘Ocean Series’. Its cabin is with black theme. Sealion 7 has a 15.6 -inch rotable infotainment system and a 10.25 inch digital instrument cluster.
