A video of Instagram user Prachi regarding this incident is going viral on social media. Prachi lives in Mumbai, while her family is in Delhi. In the video he told that late at night he received a panicked call from Delhi. His aunt, who was living with the family, suddenly started having seizures. The situation was getting worse, but at that time neither a cab nor any other means of transportation was available. So that one can reach the hospital as quickly as possible. After this, amid nervousness and distance, Prachi opened the BlinkIt app and booked the ambulance service available there. Within no time the ambulance reached his family’s house. The most surprising thing was that this service was absolutely free.

Timely help was more important than money

Prachi tells in the video that she was ready to pay the expenses of the ambulance at any cost. There was already a note written on the app that this service should be used only in genuine medical emergencies. After booking, they came to know that this ride is free. What was more satisfying for her than money was that even when she herself was not present there, she was somehow able to help her family. Let us tell you that this ambulance service of BlinkIt was started from Gurugram in January 2025. According to the company’s CEO Albinder Dhindsa, in just one year this service has helped in more than 4200 medical emergency cases. Gradually its scope is being expanded.
