Bihar assembly elections are near and meanwhile the state government has made a big announcement related to the recruitment of teachers. The process of reinstatement on vacant posts in government schools has now intensified. Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) will conduct STET (State Teacher Eligibility Test) before the Teacher Appointment Examination of the fourth phase i.e. TRE-4.
Thousands of candidates have been relieved from this announcement of the government, because STET was being demanded for a long time. Now it has become clear that without passing STET, candidates will not be able to participate in the recruitment of teachers from 9th to 12th.
When and how will the exam be exam?
Bihar School Examination Committee (BSEB) will conduct STET exam this time. Online applications for this will be taken from 8 to 16 September. That is, candidates will get only 9 days opportunity to apply.
After this, the examination will be conducted from October 4 to 25. The special thing is that it will not be too late to release the result as soon as the examination is over. The result will be declared in November.

- After passing the STET exam, candidates will be able to appear in the recruitment examination (TRE-4) of the fourth phase of BPSC.
- TRE -4 Exam Date – 16 December to 19 December 2024
- Result release date – between 20 to 24 January 2025
Who can apply?
STET exam will be conducted for all subjects. That is, whether it is science, mathematics, Hindi, English or any other subject, candidates will have to take separate exams for all. This time the rule is clear- To become a teacher from class 9th to 12th, it is mandatory to pass STET. Only those candidates will be able to sit in TRE-4 who have qualified STET.
