This entire universe is full of many kinds of mysteries. Humans have made their reach from the earth to the moon in many attempts to find these mysteries, but even today there is a place where humans have not been able to go, and that place is the Sun. Human beings have not been able to go on the sun till now, due to which even today this impossible effort is going on. In this effort, many countries are busy day and night to reach the sun. After countries like America and Japan, now India has also joined this race. The reason for this eagerness to go to the sun is that if we win the sun, we will become the owner of the world’s biggest energy source.
Why is it difficult to go to the sun
No country or any human has been able to go on the sun till now because the temperature of the sun is so high (about 6,000 degrees Celsius) that any matter will not remain in a solid state and will immediately fly as a vaper. In such a situation, human body cannot last there for more than a second. However, so far many countries have sent several space missions to the sun for the study of solar system, including the US, Europe, Japan and India.
Which countries have tried so far
Although no human has yet reached the sun, but many countries have sent humanless missions to study the sun and some preparations are still going on.
- America’s space agency NASA has sent maximum missions to Suraj. It also includes Parker Solar Probe, which was launched in 2018 and passed through the atmosphere of the sun.
- The US NASA and the European Space Agency (ESA) jointly launched the ‘Solar and Heliosphoric Observatory’ Mission in 1995, which study the sun’s surface and its stormy environment.
- Japan was the first country in the world, which launched the first mission to the Sun. Japan’s space agency Jaxa showed this thinking to come true in 1981, when it sent the first solar observation satellite, Hinotori (Astro-A) to the sun. The aim of the mission was to study solar flares through X-rays. Jaxa then launched Yohkoh (Solar-A) in 1991.
- China is not far behind in the race to reach the sun. In 2019, the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) launched a small satellite as ‘Spacecraft for High Energy Solar Physics’ (SHESP). Through this, China opened many secrets of the Sun.
- ISRO of India has also launched its ‘Aditya-L1’ mission on 2 September 2023 to study the Sun.
Did anyone get success
So far, many countries have tried unsuccessfully to go to the sun, but no one felt anything. Apart from this, only a few countries have got some success, but no one has been able to fulfill his objective properly.
