However, this is not a story, but the truth of two real brothers living in Balochistan, Pakistan, whom even doctors have not been able to understand till now. Both these brothers are suffering from a disease, the likes of which have not been found anywhere on earth. This is why doctors and scientists call them solar kids.
After all, what is this disease?
Two brothers living in a small village in Balochistan play, read, run and have fun like normal children during the day, but as the evening approaches and the sunlight begins to diminish, something very strange happens. Their energy suddenly starts to fade away, their hands and legs become loose, and they almost stop walking. It is difficult to even speak and by nightfall they become completely inactive. As if someone has turned off the switch of the body. His parents say that he is unable to move at all at night. If they are outside, the family members have to pick them up and bring them home.
Why are they called solar boys?
Both of these are normal and active only during the day, when there is sun. As soon as the sunlight ends, their strength is taken away. The body behaves as if it receives solar energy. Although the doctors have clearly said that this is not due to light but is the effect of some internal disease, still, this day-night reaction of their body is so unique that people have started calling them solar kids.
Is it just one family around the world suffering from this disease?
According to doctors and scientists, such a case has not been found anywhere else in the world. Experts believe that this disease may be related to some genetic mutation, a disturbance in the nervous system, or a serious deficiency in the body’s energy producing system. However, no one has been able to find the exact reason yet. Blood samples were sent to big labs across the world, even soil and air were tested, but the results are still not clear. The doctor prescribed dopamine medicine as its treatment. These two brothers have been made active even at night by feeding them this medicine. After taking this medicine both the brothers could get up and walk on their own at night.
