‘Cancel the green cards and visas of Pakistanis’, American demands from Marco Rubio amid Israel-Iran war, Pakistan classed by taking the name of India

Violent demonstrations took place outside the US Consulate in Karachi, Pakistan after the US attack on Iran. After this, an American conservative activist has demanded from the US State Department that all visas of Pakistanis, even green cards, should be cancelled.

According to IANS report, Laura Loomer tagged Foreign Minister Marco Rubio in a post on social media platform X and wrote, ‘The US State Department should also suspend all visas and green cards of Pakistanis as long as possible.’ His demand came after reports of violent demonstrations and clashes outside the US Consulate complex in Karachi. Laura Loomer claimed that six protesters in Pakistan, angry over the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, were killed and 20 others were injured while trying to enter the heavily guarded compound of the US Consulate.

He further alleged that several other people were shot and died while trying to re-enter this afternoon. Laura Loomer wrote, ‘Pakistani terrorists are being shot on the spot by US Marines stationed at the US Consulate in Pakistan after trying to take over the embassy in retaliation for US attacks on Iran.’

The number of casualties or the circumstances of the shooting have not been confirmed. It is also not clear whether the action has been taken by the American Marines or by local Pakistani security forces. Laura Loomer strongly criticized Pakistan and wrote that Pakistan had given shelter to Osama Bin Laden and fundamentalism is promoted there. He also alleged that this country promotes violence against the people of America and India.

The US State Department has not responded to his demand. Protests against US military actions have taken place in Karachi, Pakistan’s largest city and economic hub, before.
