A new chapter has been added in Indian T20 cricket. Team India’s star batsman Suryakumar has now become India’s most successful T20 International captain. He has left behind former captain Rohit Sharma in terms of winning percentage.
According to the data till March 2026, Suryakumar Yadav has won 40 matches while captaining in 50 T20I matches. His win percentage is 81.25%, which is better than any Indian captain who has captained in at least 50 matches. Whereas Rohit Sharma had registered 50 wins in 62 matches and his win percentage was around 79.83%.
