Cargo Ship Sinking in Sea Near Kochi Indian Coast Guard Rescue Operation Going on Kerala Administration Warn Ann

Indian Coast Guard: 9 people have been rescued from a foreign cargo ship drowning in the middle sea near Kochi. The operation of the Indian Coast Guard is going on to save the rest of the people. This cargo ship belongs to Libya, which is half submerged. The Libya flag was found that the container ship is MSC Elsa 3, which left from Vizhinjam Port on May 23 and was scheduled to reach Kochi on 24 May.

Indian Coast Guard engaged in rescue work

M / s MSc Ship Management informed the Indian officials about the rise of strong waves in the south west at around 1:25 pm on May 24 at around 1:25 pm and sought immediate assistance. The Indian Coast Guard is doing the coordination and the aircraft rescue over the drowning ship. Out of the 24 crew members on the ship, 9 are in Lifeboat, while a campaign is being carried out to save the remaining 15 people.

Many lifeboats landed near cargo ship

Indian Coast Guard aircraft have removed many lifeboats near the routes out of the cargo ship. DG Shipping has issued instructions to provide immediate rescue services to the ship managers by coordinating with the Indian Coast Guard. The Indian Coast Guard is keeping a strict monitoring on the situation to prevent loss of life or property and loss of environment.

These strict instructions given to people

During this incident, some containers have allegedly fallen into the sea. Meanwhile, the Kerala Disaster Management Authority KSDMA has warned that goods are likely to flow on the Kerala coast and people should not try to touch or find items under any circumstances. People have been instructed to inform the police if they see the container on the sea coast.
