The Hindu report stated that a major omission was revealed in the system of Coindcx at 4 am on July 19. In this, the operational account on the partner exchange was hacked, causing a loss of $ 44 million i.e. Rs 360 crore to the company. It is a matter of relief that due to the attack on the internal trading account, the wallets of customers associated with cryptocurrency are safe, so this cyber attack will not be affected by users.
Describing it a warning for the world of Crypto, Neeraj Gupta said, this matter is not limited to us only. According to the company, this cyber attack has stolen about $ 44 million from an operational account. The stolen fund has been transferred through the Solana-Atherium Blockchain Bridge. It is divided in this way-
4,443 Etharium priced at around $ 15.7 million and 155,830 Solana priced around $ 27.6 million. The information of the case has been given to India’s cyber emergency team CERT-in, which is investigating it with two more international cyber security agencies. Currently, Coindcx has informed about working in the normal way of all services.
