Rachakonda Police has achieved a major success within 12 hours in the case of attempt to kill a cow protector in Hyderabad. Police have arrested three people including the main accused. This incident is related to firing and happened over a dispute over illegal animal transportation. BJP is attacking the Reddy government regarding this entire matter.

There is a lot of discussion about this incident on social media, while on one hand the attack on cow protectors is being condemned, on the other hand questions are being raised on the allegations of extortion that have come forward in this case.
what is the whole matter
This incident took place on the night of 22 October near Yamnampet in Ghatkesar. The victim, Birla Prashant Kumar alias Sonu Singh, who is an active cow protection activist, was called by his friend Kuruva Srinivas. The main accused Mohammad Ibrahim Qureshi and his associates present there had a heated argument with Prashant about stopping his business of illegal animal transportation and the loss of Rs 1 crore caused by it.
When the conversation between the two escalated, Ibrahim shot Prashant in the chest with his pistol and everyone ran away. Injured Prashant was immediately admitted to the hospital, where his bullet was removed after surgery and his condition is said to be out of danger.
Police arrested 3 accused
Rachakonda Police Commissioner G. Taking immediate action, the special teams formed on the instructions of Sudhir Babu arrested the main accused Mohammad Ibrahim Qureshi, victim’s friends Kuruva Srinivas and Hasan bin Mosin from Shamshabad on the morning of 23 October.
Investigation has revealed that Prashant is accused of extorting Rs 5 lakh from the accused in return for not stopping their activities. Police have recovered a country-made pistol, a Swift car, three mobile phones and two empty cartridges from the accused. One accused Mohammad Hanif Qureshi is still absconding, the search for him is going on.
