A joint operation conducted in Faridabad and Jammu and Kashmir has become a topic of discussion across the country. Security agencies together have exposed the conspiracy of a major terrorist attack. Seven people have been arrested in this operation, the most shocking name of which is that of Dr. Muzammil Shakeel. According to the police, he was associated with Al-Falah University, Faridabad and 360 kg of ammonium nitrate, AK-47 rifle and hundreds of cartridges were recovered from his room. It is being told that apart from being a medical professional, Muzammil was also teaching in the university, but now the same doctor has gone on the path of terrorism.

Investigating agencies suspect that he used his medical knowledge to prepare explosives. The cache of gunpowder found with him points towards some big conspiracy. Police say that this network is not limited to Haryana only, but its links extend to Jammu-Kashmir, Delhi and Gujarat. In fact, this week Gujarat ATS had also arrested three suspected terrorists, one of whom was an MBBS doctor from Hyderabad.

This university was formed in the year 2014 under a special act of the Haryana Assembly and it got the recognition of UGC in 2015. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has completed preparations for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Examination 2025. This examination will start from 12th November 2025 and will continue till 30th November 2025. 6,80,490 candidates will appear for the examination at a total of 59 examination centers in the states of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar associated with SSC Madhya Kshetra Prayagraj. This time 38 centers have been made in Uttar Pradesh and 21 centers in Bihar. The examination will be conducted in three shifts. From 10 to 11 in the morning, 1:30 to 2:30 in the afternoon and 5 to 6 in the evening.

Examination will be held in these districts of UP

Examination centers have been set up in Agra, Bareilly, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Meerut, Prayagraj and Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh. 40,369 candidates will appear at four examination centers in Prayagraj, 59,988 candidates at six centers in Lucknow, and 56,518 candidates at seven centers in Varanasi.

46,703 candidates will appear at five centers in Gorakhpur, 44,842 at three centers in Meerut, 35,324 at three centers in Agra, 28,347 at three centers in Bareilly, 46,837 at two centers in Kanpur, and 24,470 candidates at two centers in Jhansi.

Patna has the highest number of centers in Bihar.

Bhagalpur, Gaya and Patna have been made examination centers in Bihar. Maximum 15 centers have been established in Patna, where 1,81,261 candidates will appear in the examination. Apart from this, 44,271 candidates will try their luck at three centers in Muzaffarpur, 37,372 in Bhagalpur, and 34,188 candidates will try their luck at three centers in Gaya.

There is great news for the youth dreaming of government jobs in Uttar Pradesh. The recruitment process of 45 thousand home guards has started in the state. Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has activated the One Time Registration (OTR) link for this recruitment. This means that now any candidate who wants to join this recruitment will be required to undergo OTR first. Application of any candidate will not be accepted without OTR.

Any candidate who wants to be a part of this recruitment process can easily register by visiting uppbpb.gov.in website. According to the recruitment board, the detailed notification and examination schedule of this recruitment will be released soon. It is believed that its notification may come by the end of November.

Who will have to get OTR done?

Now one time registration system has been implemented for all police recruitments in UP. This means that candidates will not need to fill their information again and again every time they apply. Once they complete the OTR process, their information will be automatically filled in the application form.

Candidates who have already done OTR do not need to register again. But for those who are applying for the first time, OTR is necessary. A video has also been released on the board’s website in which it has been explained how to do the registration and what things should be kept in mind.

Recruitment notification soon

It has been told by UPPRPB that the official notification of Home Guard Recruitment 2025 will be available on the website soon. It will be told in the notification how many seats have been kept for which category.

In this recruitment, candidates will be able to apply only for their permanent district. That is, if a candidate is a resident of Prayagraj, then he will apply for his district only. Apart from this, persons who have been dismissed before from the service of any municipal body or against whom any criminal case is registered will not be eligible for this recruitment.

For selection in Home Guard recruitment, candidates will be required to pass the Physical Efficiency Test. This test will include various fitness parameters like running, high jump, long jump. After this the documents of the candidates will be scrutinized. The age limit for NDA exam has been fixed at 16.5 to 19.5 years and for CDS exam it has been fixed at 19 to 25 years. Reserved category candidates are given age relaxation as per government rules.

What is physical standard?

Every candidate has to fulfill certain physical standards. Height should be at least 157 cm, weight is decided according to age and height and chest should be at least 77 cm which after expansion should be up to 82 cm. The physical fitness test includes exercises like 1.6 kilometer run, pull-ups, push-ups and balance test. Apart from all this, medical test is also necessary in which eyes, ears, teeth, heart and other tests are done to ensure that the candidate is completely healthy.

Selection Process

The selection process takes place in several stages. First of all the candidate has to apply online by visiting joinindianarmy.nic.in website. After this, computer based examination i.e. CEE is conducted. In this, questions are asked from subjects like General Knowledge, Mathematics, Reasoning and English. After this, selection is done on the basis of physical fitness test, medical examination and finally merit list.

Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of AIIMS Gorakhpur, aiimsgorakhpur.edu.in.

Under this recruitment, posts will be filled in many departments. These include posts like Tutor or Clinical Instructor, Assistant Administrative Officer, Junior Account Officer, Store Keeper, Junior Physiotherapist, Technical Assistant (ENT), Optometrist, Technician (Radiology), Technician (Radiotherapy), Operation Theater Assistant, Junior Medical Lab Technologist, Pharmacist, Medical Record Technician and Mortuary Attendant. The minimum age limit for AIIMS Gorakhpur Recruitment 2025 has been kept at 18 years, while the maximum age limit is set at 50 years. According to government rules, reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit.

For this recruitment, general and OBC category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 1770. Whereas for SC, ST and EWS category candidates the application fee has been fixed at Rs 1416. Fees will have to be paid through online mode.

There will be a total of 100 questions in the AIIMS Gorakhpur recruitment exam, for which 400 marks have been allotted. The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes. There will be two sections in the paper. The first section will be related to General Knowledge, Aptitude and Computer Knowledge, which will have 20 questions carrying 80 marks. The second section will be of domain knowledge (questions related to the related field), which will have 80 questions and it will be of 320 marks.

AIIMS Gorakhpur has also released the category wise minimum cutoff for the examination. The minimum cutoff has been fixed at 40% for unreserved and EWS categories, 35% for OBC and 30% for SC-ST candidates.
