CBSE conducts class 10 board examination for lakhs of students every year. The new pattern of board exams is going to be implemented from 2026, in which the exam will be conducted twice a year. That is, students will now be able to take the exam not just once but in two sessions in a year. The first session will be held from February to March and the second session will be held in May. Due to this change, the importance of the admit card for students and parents has increased even more.
Admit card, also known as hall ticket, is an essential document for every student. Without this no student can appear in the examination. It contains student’s name, roll number, examination centre, subject, examination date and other important information. Therefore, it is very important to receive it on time and correctly check the information given in it.
10th board exam in 2026
CBSE 10th exam will be conducted in two sessions in 2026. In which the first session is possible from 17 February to 11 March 2026 and the second session is possible from 15 May to 1 June 2026. The admit card for the first session is likely to be released in the last week of January 2026. The admit card for the second session can be released by the end of April.
CBSE 10th Admit Card 2026 Important Information
On the admit card, you get all the information like name and roll number of the student, date of birth, name of father or mother/guardian, name and subject of the examination, exam date, name and address of the examination centre, category of CWSN. Students are advised to check all the details carefully when they receive the admit card. If you notice any mistakes, contact your school immediately so that they can be corrected.
How to download hall ticket pdf
1. It is easy to download CBSE 10th Hall Ticket PDF. For this visit the official website of CBSE www.cbse.gov.in Go to.
2. InFocus tab will be found on the homepage of the website, click on it.
3. Link to admit card, LOC and center material for board exam 2026 will be available in InFocus. Click on it.
4. Enter the user ID and password given by the board to you or your school. In which for regular students, these details will be available from the school and for private students, the login details will be given at the time of their registration.
5. Now type the security PIN (CAPTCHA) that appears on the screen correctly.
6. After entering user ID, password and PIN, click on Login.
7. After login your admit card will appear on the screen.
8. Download the card as PDF, take at least 2-3 printouts and keep it safe.
