Board examination is very important in the life of any student. It not only evaluates your hard work and preparation, but also sets the direction for future studies and career. 1. Manage time and reach the exam center on time – Your exam starts at 10:30 am, but you must reach the exam center by 10:00 am. There is always a risk of delay due to traffic, road blockage or other circumstances. Therefore, decide the route in advance and leave early. If possible, visit the center once before the examination. Remember, CBSE will not admit latecomers. Arriving early before the exam will help you reduce stress and maintain calm in the exam.

2. Wear proper and comfortable clothes – CBSE has given clear instructions for the examination. These are not just rules, but for your convenience and to stay focused, regular students for boys will have to wear school uniform. It is okay for private students to wear plain shirt/T-shirt and plain trousers. For girls, regular students will have to wear school dress. Private students are allowed to wear light and comfortable clothes. Other important rules Jewellery, heavy shoes, metal items, and electronic devices like mobile phones, smart watches etc. are prohibited.

3. Check Date and Time Table – Class 10th examinations will end on 11 March 2026. Class 12th examinations will end on 10th April 2026. Always follow the official CBSE time table. Guessing or speculating only adds to the unnecessary tension. Preparation at the right time increases confidence and prevents confusion at the last moment.

4. Preparation before the exam – Go to the examination center with admit card, necessary stationery and a concentrated mind. Get good sleep and have a nutritious breakfast the night before the exam. Use study time wisely. It is more useful to study thoughtfully rather than cramming at the last moment. First start with those questions which you know the answers to well. Make time for difficult questions later. Avoid comparing or asking answers from others in the hall.
