The wait for millions of students waiting for CBSE board exam 2025 will end soon. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) can release the results of class 10th and 12th in the second week of May. Although the board has not yet officially announced the exact date of the result, but according to reports the result process is in the final stages. Let’s know how students will be able to see it after the results.
So many students are waiting
In the academic session 2024-25, about 42 lakh students appeared in the examinations of class 10th and 12th. The evaluation of such a large number of students’ answer books is going on fast. Given the trend of previous years, it is expected that the results can be declared around 13 May 2025.
How many marks do passing is done?
According to CBSE rules, students have to get at least 33% marks in every subject to pass. If a student fails by a very small margin, there is also a provision to give grace marks to him.

- Total pass percentage of 12th: 87.33%
- Girls: 90.68%
- Boys: 84.67%
- Best Performance: Trivandrum (99.91%)
- Students in compartment: more than 1.25 lakhs

How to check the result?
- Step 1: First of all students visit the official website.
- Step 2: After this, click on the link ‘CBSE Class 10th/12th Result 2025’ on the student homepage.
- Step 3: Then enter the student roll number, school number and admit card ID.
- Step 4: Now click on the student submit and look at the result screen.
- Step 5: After this, save a printout or PDF of the student result.
