The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has finally released the result of the Class 10 Supplementary Examination on 5 August 2025. Thousands of students were waiting for this result, who gave this exam due to low marks in one or two subjects in the main examination. How many students took the exam and passed?
According to data shared by CBSE, 1,43,648 students had registered for the supplementary examination this year. Of these, 1,38,898 students appeared in the examination. 67,620 students have passed in the examination result, which is 48.68% of the total candidates. That is, less than one out of every two students can pass.
The performance of girls was better than boys this time too. While the pass percentage of boys was 47.41%, the girls took the lead with 51.04% success rate. One of the students of transgender candidates also passed.
How and where to see the result?
CBSE has given many options to see the results for the convenience of the students. Students can check their results by visiting the official website of CBSE cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in. Information like roll number, school number and date of birth will be required to see the result.
Apart from this, digital marksheets and pass certificates are also available on Digilocker app and website. Students who have already created an account in Digilocker can easily download the document by logging. Students can also see their results using UMANG app and SMS feature.
How to get a marksheet and certificate?
Students who have passed the supplementary examination will get a new marksheet and pass certificate. This marksheet will be available online in Digilocker. At the same time, after some time its hard copy can be obtained from school. In this updated marksheet, marks will be added in the supplementary exam and it will be considered a final marksheet.
Application for Reichaking and photocopy of answer book
CBSE has also announced with the result that if a student is not satisfied with his digits, then that rechecking or answer book Can apply for photocopy of. Applications for photo copy can be made on August 8 and 9, while the window for rechecking will be open from 18 to 19 August.
