The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the schedule of registration of children with disabilities and special needs (CWSN – Children with Special Needs) for the 10th and 12th Board Exams 2026. The objective of this initiative is to ensure that such students, who need additional support, can avail the necessary facilities during the examination and take the exam without any obstruction.
CBSE has given clear instructions to all the affiliated schools across the country to register such students studying here within the stipulated time on the Pariksha Sangam portal. Along with registration, schools will also be responsible for uploading the right documents and medical certificates.
When will the registration be done?
CBSE has also announced the dates of registration especially. This process will start from 9 September 2025 (Tuesday) to 22 September 2025 (Monday) till 11:59 pm. In this schedule, all schools have to ensure that they complete the registration of eligible students, so that they can get all the necessary facilities at the time of examination on time.

Schools will have to follow these steps
- Students marking as CWSN – During the registration, eligible students will have to be identified in the list of candidates.
- Uploading the necessary documents – It will be necessary to upload a medical certificate or disability certificate on the online portal.
- Choosing Examination Facilities – The facilities given in the examination have to be selected according to the need of every student and their status.
- Following SOP – It is necessary to strictly follow the standard operational procedures given by CBSE.
What will be the benefit of students?
As soon as the registration is completed, the facilities selected for CWSN students will be recorded directly on their admit card. The advantage of this will be that the examination centers will be prepared in advance and students will be able to get additional time, separate seating arrangements, writers (assistant writers) facilities or other special arrangements immediately.
