A big gift has come from the Central Government for the people of Noida and Greater Noida. The Central Government has approved the expansion of Aqua Line Metro Corridor from Botanical Garden to Sector-142 in Noida. This new metro corridor will play an important role in directly connecting Noida with Greater Noida. This will not only save time for passengers, but will also reduce traffic pressure.

The government aims to strengthen urban transport through this project, provide convenience to daily commuters and take the infrastructure of the entire region to new heights. This metro extension is being considered a historic step towards the development of Noida-Greater Noida area. People are also appreciating this project of the government.

The new extension will be 11.56 kilometers long

According to the information, this new extension will be 11.56 kilometers long. Also, it will start from Botanical Garden of Noida and go till Sector-142. This project, to be built at a cost of approximately Rs 2,254 crore, is targeted to be completed in the next 4 years. Also, there will be a total of 8 stations on this new route. Their names are Botanical Garden, Noida Sector-44, Noida Office, Noida Sector-97, Noida Sector-105, Noida Sector-108, Noida Sector-93, Panchsheel Balak Inter College etc. All stations will be prepared with every facility.

Botanical Garden will be directly connected to Delhi Metro network

The biggest feature of this project is its connectivity. It will be directly connected to the Delhi Metro network at Botanical Garden. With this, it will become very easy for the people of Noida-Greater Noida to reach IGI Airport and major railway stations of Delhi. After this expansion, the total metro network of Noida and Greater Noida will be 61.62 kilometers. This project will not only provide relief from traffic jams, but will also give impetus to the economic growth and sustainable development of the area.
