The Indian cricket team has refused to take the trophy even after winning the Asia Cup final. When the post match presentation started, Tilak Verma was declared the Player of the Match for the innings of 69 runs. Abhishek Sharma, who scored 314 runs in 7 matches in the tournament, was awarded the Player of the Series Award. Let us tell you that Mohsin Naqvi did not give any of these awards.
When the time to give the trophy to the Indian team came close, the match presenter and former cricketer Simon Dool said that they have received news from the Asian Cricket Council that the Indian team will not be rewarded tonight.
