Two more people have been arrested in the case of murder of gangster Chandan Mishra in a private hospital in Patna last month. On Saturday, SSP Karthikeya’s Sharma gave this information.

Two accused arrested from Buxar

According to the police, the arrested accused include Vijay Kant Pandey alias Rudra Pandey alias Dhannu (shooter), resident of Nagpura in Simri police station area of Buxar district and Rajesh Yadav (arms supplier), resident of Khandra ward number-1 of Simri police station area. On the basis of Yadav’s revelations, 190 grams of heroin has also been recovered from a place in Patna.

SSP Karthikeya Sharma said that Rajesh Yadav had reached Patna a day before the incident, he spent the night at the house of his friend Rohit in Anand Vihar Colony of Roopaspur police station area and provided weapons to the shooters. After this, he also Reiki for the activities of Chandan Mishra. After executing the incident, everyone escaped.

Patna Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Karthikeya’s Sharma told reporters, ‘Four of the five attackers have been arrested. One is still absconding and the police will soon catch him.

Chandan Mishra, convicted of murder, was released on parole. On July 17, Mishra was shot dead by five gunmen at the intensive medical unit (ICU) of the hospital. The CCTV footage of the incident went viral on social media, in which five armed attackers were seen entering and firing in the ICU. In this firing, Mishra died on the spot.

Four accused arrested so far

The attackers arrested so far include Tausif alias Badshah, Balwant Kumar, Raviranjan Kumar Singh and Vijayakant Pandey. Apart from this, several colleagues of the main accused have also been detained, including Harsh, Bhima, Nishu Khan, Abhishek Kumar and Rajesh Yadav.
