Waqf amendment bill: Politics in the country has become hot before the Waqf Amendment Bill appeared in the Lok Sabha. Chandrababu Naidu’s Telugu Desam Party has said to support the Waqf amendment bill. TDP said that CM Chandrababu Naidu is in favor of Muslims. TDP leader Prem Kumar Jain said that the Muslims of the entire country have also been eyeing the Waqf Amendment Bill presented in Parliament.

TDP leader Prem Kumar Jain said that the Muslims of the entire country have also been eyeing the Waqf Amendment Bill presented in Parliament. He said, “Many people have illegally occupied the land of about 9 lakh acres of Waqf Board. Our party will support the Waqf Amendment Bill.”
‘TDP always protected Waqf properties’
Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu recently said that the TDP government has always protected Waqf properties and will continue to do further. He said, “When the government order was issued, unnecessary controversy arose, so when the courts were moved, there came a time when the Waqf Board stopped working. After our government came, we stopped that order. Taking the opinion of all, the work board was formed. We will protect the properties of the Waqf Board. We will work in the direction of economic uplift of the underprivileged Muslim families.”

JDU and LJP stance
It is now clear from the statement of JDU leaders that they are in support of this bill. JDU said, “There is an attempt to make Muslims wander on behalf of the opposition. There is nothing in this bill that is like snatching their rights.” At the same time, Chirag Paswan, president of the other NDA party LJP (R), has said about this bill that the opposition is misleading Muslims.
