Chardham Yatra 2025 News: From May 2, the doors of Kedarnath Dham will be opened to the devotees. To make the yatra successful, the administration has made special preparations for the stay and facilities of the passengers this time. Arrangements have been made to stop 15,000 devotees in one night in Dham, while night stay of 2,000 passengers has been arranged at various stages of footway.
Many new buildings have been built this time for the convenience of passengers in Kedarnath Dham, located at an altitude of 11,750 feet above sea level. These buildings prepared under the reconstruction will be helpful for the devotees in the night’s rest. Apart from this, Garhwal Mandal Development Corporation (GMVN) has been entrusted with the responsibility of food and housing of passengers. According to the administration, passengers will be accommodated in GMVN’s cottage besides residential and commercial buildings of pilgrimage. Along with this, private tent facility will also be available, so that a maximum of 15,000 devotees can be migrated to night.
Devotees reaching Dham will also get proper facilities to stay on the route. Arrangements have been made to stay between Gaurikund to Kedarnath like Junglechatti, Bhimbali, Chhoti Lincholi, Badi Lincholi, Chhani Camp, Rudrapwint and Base Camp. A total of 2,000 passengers will have a night stay here. The administration says that during the journey, there is no inconvenience to the devotees, it will be taken care of. All the arrangements have been targeted to be completed by 25 April, so that the journey can be operated smoothly.
A total of 17000 devotees stay in the stops in one night
To make the Kedarnath Yatra route smooth, the work of removing ice is being done rapidly. The work of removing snow between Rambada to Lincholi on Gaurikund-Kedarnath walking route is almost complete. Now, the laborers of Lonivi are busy cleaning ice between Lincholi to Chhani Camp. Some places in this area still have more than three feet of snow. This time, a total of 17,000 devotees have been arranged in various stops including Dham on the journey route. The administration has assured that security, health and disaster management teams will be kept fully alert to ensure that the devotees do not have any kind of inconvenience.
Administration is fully cautious about Chardham Yatra preparations
Anil Kumar Shukla, Deputy District Magistrate Ukhimath said that the administration is fully cautious about the journey preparations. All arrangements will be completed by 25 April. Repair of routes, ice cleaning and residential facilities will soon be finalized, so that devotees do not face any kind of problem during the journey. Security will be strict on travel routes and medical teams will also be deployed for health related assistance. This time the administration has made strong arrangements to make the yatra more secure and convenient.
