Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal has broken his silence on the allegations made by his ex-wife Dhanashree Verma. These days, Dhanashree is a contestant in a reality show, in which she hinted that Chahal had cheated on her only after 2 months of marriage. According to Hindustan Times, Chahal has rejected all these allegations. Let us tell you that Chahal-Dhanashree got divorced in March this year.

While talking to Hindustan Times, Yuzvendra Chahal said, “I am an athlete, I do not cheat. If I had cheated in 2 months, would the relationship have lasted so long. That chapter is over for me and it would be appropriate for everyone to move on from it.”

Everything is a lie…

Yuzvendra Chahal said that there is no truth in those allegations. He said, “Our marriage lasted for 4 and a half years, if we had cheated within 2 months, then who would have remained in the relationship? I have already said that I have forgotten the history, but some people are still stuck there. Their house is running in my name, so they keep dragging my name again and again. I am not worried about it nor does it make any difference.”

Chahal made it clear that he has forgotten the old things and people say anything which goes viral on social media. He said, “A hundred things are going on, but the truth is the same and know that that chapter is closed for me. I never want to talk about that again.”

Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma got married in December 2020. About 4 years later, in February 2024, a divorce petition was filed. But in March 2025, their divorce petition was approved. It was claimed in the reports that Dhanashree Verma had received an alimony of Rs 4.75 crore.
