RBI’s issued calendar provides information about bank holidays. In which state, when the bank is closed, it is revealed. Along with this, the state can also announce a holiday on a particular day. However, to do this, they have to get permission from the RBI.

Will there be a holiday on October 4?

According to the RBI calendar, on October 4, Durga Puja has been discharged in the state of Sikkim. If you live in Sikkim, then you should avoid going to the bank tomorrow. Apart from this, there is no information about holiday in any state.

October bank holiday

On 6 October, a holiday has been announced on Lakshmi Puja in Tripura and West Bengal. Banks will remain closed in Karnataka, Chandigarh, Odisha and Himachal Pradesh on 7 October. On October 10, there will be a holiday in banks about Karva Chauth in Himachal Pradesh. On October 18, Assam, 20 and 21, banks will remain closed in almost the whole country for Deepawali and Govardhan Puja.

A holiday has been announced for Mahaparva Chhath in West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand on 27 October. Also, on October 28, there will be a holiday on Chhath festival in Bihar. Due to such a holiday in banks throughout the month of October, there may be trouble in functioning. Therefore, you should deal with your bank’s important work in time.
