Neet aspirant suicide: In Tamil Nadu, 21 -year -old NEET student’s suicide has given rise to political controversy. AIADMK chief Palaniswami has raised a finger on the ruling party DMK and CM Stalin in this case. He has said that due to DMK, suicide cases of NEET students have increased in Tamil Nadu. Palaniswami has even said that CM Stalin’s hands are soaked with the blood of NEET students.

Actually, only a DMK MP in the Manmohan Singh government brought the NEET bill. Its notification came in 2010 and in 2012, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Department, Gandhi Selvan, introduced it in Parliament. After the bill was passed, in 2013, a medical entrance test took place in India under NEET. Earlier, at the national level, there were All India Pre Medical Tests and every state has its different entry exams. After the arrival of NEET, different exams of states were abolished.

By making this an issue, Palaniswami says that due to DMK, Tamil Nadu’s own medical entrance exam ended and the children here had to give NEET, which proved to be a harm to them.

What did Palaniswami say?
Palaniswami wrote on the social media platform ‘X’, ‘When the Congress was at the center before 2014, DMK started NEET. The DMK not only started the NEET examination in the country, but to stop the protest against it, it also went to the Supreme Court with the coalition parties, so that the exam would not be closed. With this, the foundation to destroy the medical dreams of the students of Tamil Nadu was laid. Now DMK only says that after forming the government at the Center, it will not allow the NEET exam. Palaniswami also said that the deaths in Tamil Nadu due to NEET are not a matter of concern for DMK.

Suicide for fear of failing even in fourth attempt
In Chennai, 21 -year -old Devdarshini committed suicide. His NEET paper was not good. She was afraid that she would not be able to clear it. She was not able to clear this entrance test thrice before.
