How to celebrate Chetichand
- On this day people of Sindhi community perform various rituals and pray for forty consecutive days. This offering is known as Chaliho. Many people also keep fast on this day.
- Beharana Sahib (also known as Bhent) is made, sugar, fruits, cardamom, oil lamp and Akho are kept in it. They also take the idol of Lord Jhulelal to the lake or river.
- Jyoti Jagan (lighting 5 wicks in a wheat flour lamp) is lit.
