Gopal Samantas said, “Mahua Moitra comes from my own community and as an MP, he was expecting responsible behavior, but the statement he gave against Home Minister Amit Shah is very irresponsible and shameful.”

Why was the FIR filed?
The feudals said that Mahua’s statement was not only an attack on Amit Shah, but it also damaged the image of the Bengali community. He described it against society and parliamentary dignity. “I have done this FIR not for political reasons, but to save the honor and parliamentary dignity of the society. Such people should not get a place in Parliament. The society should not tolerate such statements.”
