CG-Lilangana Border Naxal Operation: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai took a high level review meeting of the ongoing Naxal operation in the hills of Karegutta on the Chhattisgarh-Telangana border. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai took a high -level meeting on Monday and conducted a thorough review of the ongoing Naxal abolition campaign in the hills of Karragutta.
This area is located on the border of Chhattisgarh and Telangana, where in recent times, there has been a lot of pressure on the Naxalites due to the frequent actions of security forces. In the meeting, Chief Minister Sai gave a clear message that “Naxal abolition is not just a campaign, but a mission to secure the future of Bastar and Chhattisgarh”.
The Chief Minister said in the meeting that the Chhattisgarh government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah is working strongly with a resolve to make the state Naxal -free. He said that our goal is to eradicate Naxalism till March 2026 and we are making every effort in this direction.
The Chief Minister appreciated the indomitable courage, dedication and duty of the officials and soldiers of the security forces and said that due to their bravery, many areas of the state have been freed from Naxal effects today. He encouraged to keep the morale of the security forces more high and said that the final success is now very close.
Chief Minister Sai specifically directed that effective action should be ensured by strengthening mutual coordination and information collection system in anti -Naxal operations. He said that Naxal abolition is not just a campaign, but a mission to secure the future of Bastar and Chhattisgarh, in which no laxity is acceptable.
State Home Minister Vijay Sharma, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Director General of Police Arundev Gautam, CRPF and senior central security forces were present in this important meeting.
The Chief Minister instructed to strengthen mutual coordination and information collection system in anti -Naxal operations. The Chief Minister also reiterated that the state government is working strongly with the resolve to make Chhattisgarh Naxal -free under the leadership of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
The Chief Minister said that both security and development have to be carried along in districts like Bijapur, Sukma and Dantewada. He instructed the officials to increase dialogue to win the trust of local communities and the development works in the area should be completed at a fast pace.
The Chief Minister said that special attention should be paid to road construction, health services, education and employment generation in Naxal -affected areas. He said that the public should feel that the government is dedicated to them and wants to bring positive changes in their lives.
24 Maoists surrendered in Bijapur
24 Maoists have surrendered in Bijapur, out of which 14 Naxalites have been declared a prize of Rs 28 lakh. Naxalites surrendered before the officers of CRPF and Bijapur police. Surrender Naxalites include Paratapur Area Committee and West Bastar Division Bhairamgarh Area Committee ACM, AOB Division, PLGA Member, PPCM and Janatana President, Section Deputy Commander, ACM including party members. All the Maoists were active in the areas of Bijapur, Dantewada Sukma for a long time. Impressed by the government’s rehabilitation policy and in view of the big internal differences within the Maoist organization, everyone has surrendered.
