Operation Sindoor: In the name of Operation Sindoor, Congress leader Prithviraj Chavan and Udit Raj’s comments were described by Chhattisgarh Deputy CM Arun Saw. He described it as a symbol of the mindset of Congress leaders.
He said on Thursday that such leaders repeatedly reveal their mindset, but today the whole country is standing firmly with the government and the Indian Army. Undoubtedly, terrorism will be eradicated from the world in the coming time and those who raise terrorism will have to face their mouths.
He said that in the Pahalgam terror attack, where our mothers and sisters were targeted and their sindoor (symbol of marital dignity) were erased, innocent, unarmed tourists were cruel attacks. In response, India started Operation Sindoor to give a strong and decisive message to Pakistan. The Indian Army performed its strength and ability and carried out this operation with remarkable courage and restraint. But, some Congress leaders are showing their mindset even at such a time.
What did Prithviraj Chavan say?
On the controversial statement on Congress leader Prithviraj Chavan’s Operation Sindoor, BJP spokesperson Tuhin Sinha said that I have heard his statement and it is quite regret. He said that the name ‘Operation Sindoor’ was given to take emotional benefits, but I believe it is a very embarrassing comment.
Tuhin Sinha further said, ‘Operation Sindoor’ means that Pakistan -sponsored terrorists have been eradicating the vermilion of our mothers and sisters over the years and now after the Pahalgam attack, no Pakistani terrorist will dare to erase an Indian daughter or sister’s vermilion.
After the air strike, they will think ten times before doing so. The second thing is that Prithviraj Chavan is saying that if the army is taking action, give evidence. They feel that our army has demolished 9 terrorist bases. There is a panic in Pakistan. They still need evidence. I think Congress leaders should avoid such mild rhetoric.
