US President Donald Trump has imposed tariffs on countries including India and China. He had shown a lot of strictness about China, but now Trump is upset to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping. Actually, China has caught the weak vein of America. He has stopped buying soybeans from America, giving a befitting reply to the tariff case. Now Trump can meet Jinping in the next four weeks.
Tariff war has been going on between China and America for months. Trump had increased the import duty by 145 percent on Chinese goods, after which Jinping imposed counter-tariffs. After this, in May this year, there was talk between the two countries and the situation became somewhat normal. After this, the US reduced the tariff to 30 percent. However, the total tariff is close to 55 percent.
Why Trump got upset due to China
Now Trump has told America’s problem through social media platform Truth. He wrote, “Soybean farmers of our country are suffering losses due to not buying Soybean from China, China has stopped purchasing only for the purpose of negotiating. We have earned so much from the tariff that we will use a small part of that money to help our farmers. I will never disappoint our farmers!
Donald Trump will soon meet Jinping
Trump said about the meeting with Jinping, “Bidon did not implement our agreement with China under which he had to buy our billions of dollars of agricultural products, especially soybeans. But everything will be alright. Every farmer of ours is a true patriot. I am going to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping in four weeks, and soybean will be a big issue of this conversation.
