According to the report, China also remains the most active and continuous ‘cyber threat’ for the US government, private sector and important infrastructure networks. This report was published under the ‘Year 2025 Annual Danger Assessment (ATA)’ released on Tuesday (March 25).
Apart from China, in the report, Russia, Iran and North Korea have also been described as a major threat to the US and its global interests. According to the report, Russia sees Ukraine war as ‘a pseudo -struggle with the West’ which introduces new challenges to the US.

The report said that China has emerged as the most capable country in damaging American interests globally. However, China is trying to maintain its economic and diplomatic image in a more active manner than Russia, Iran and North Korea. Despite this, his military and technical abilities remain a matter of serious concern for the US.

According to intelligence report, China has demonstrated its tremendous cyber abilities that are capable of weakening American infrastructure. If a situation of conflict arises between the US and China, then Beijing can make full use of these capabilities.
