China’s Foreign Ministry has said that it is shocked by the airstrike taken by America against a sovereign country and the action taken against its President. Also strongly condemns this action of US. China said, ‘Such hegemonic actions of the US seriously violate international law and Venezuela’s sovereignty. Also, there is a threat to peace and security in Latin America and the Caribbean region. China strongly opposes this.

The Foreign Ministry said, ‘We call on the US to adhere to the purposes and principles of international law and the UN Charter and to stop violating the sovereignty and security of other countries.’

United Nations expressed concern

Secretary General of the United Nations General Assembly Antonio Guterres has expressed concern over America’s military action in Venezuela. UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric said, ‘The Secretary-General continues to emphasize the importance of all countries fully respecting international law, including the UN Charter. They are extremely concerned that the rules of international law have not been respected.

What did Brazil say on America’s action?

Brazilian President Lula da Silva said, ‘The bombing of Venezuelan soil and the arrest of its president is the most serious attack on Venezuelan sovereignty. By doing this, another very dangerous example has been set for the entire international community. This action is reminiscent of the worst moments of interference in the politics of Latin America and the Caribbean.
