Union Minister Chirag Paswan got angry over the incident of lathi charge on the watchmen who were protesting for their demands in Patna. Condemning this incident, he described it as very serious and worrying. President of Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) said that it is not right to suppress the voice of loyal workers. Chirag Paswan also said that our party’s delegation will soon meet Deputy CM and Home Minister Samrat Chaudhary regarding this matter. I will personally meet the CM and request him to solve their problems.
Union Minister Chirag Paswan wrote on the social media platform, “The incident of lathi charge on the watchman-daffadar colleagues who were protesting for their legitimate demands in Patna is extremely sad and condemnable.” Suppressing the voices of these loyal personnel, who are the backbone of the security system of the villages, through the use of force is not in accordance with any sensitive system.

Chirag’s party delegation will meet Home Minister Samrat Chaudhary
He wrote, “This incident is extremely serious and worrying. Regarding the problems of Chowkidar-Dafadar colleagues and the treatment meted out to them, our party has decided that a delegation led by MP Arun Bhati will meet the Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister of Bihar soon. This delegation will submit a detailed memorandum, which will include demands for resolution of their legitimate demands, permanent resolution of service-related problems and action against guilty administrative officers.
Those who protect villages should be respected – Chirag Paswan
Chirag Paswan also said, “I myself will meet Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on this issue and urge him to take necessary steps to protect the livelihood, social security and honor of the watchman-daffadar colleagues and will demand appropriate action against the culprits.” Compromising the livelihood and dignity of families who have been serving for years in the name of reforms is not acceptable. It is the collective responsibility of the society and the government to protect the honor and future of those who protect the villages.

Let us tell you that on Monday (February 23), the watchmen of Bihar Police had demonstrated at JP Golambar in Patna demanding increase in honorarium and service related reforms. During this time, when the protesters tried to break the barricade and move towards Dakbungalow intersection, the police resorted to lathi charge, in which many people were injured.
