Before the Bihar Assembly elections, political rhetoric has intensified. Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan has launched a scathing attack on the Grand Alliance and RJD. He said that the opposition knows that it is not going to come to power, hence it is making false promises and trying to confuse the public.

Chirag Paswan said that the Leader of Opposition himself knows that he does not want to come to power, hence he is making big announcements without thinking. The question is where will the money for these announcements come from. Taking a dig at RJD’s manifesto, he said that it is impractical to promise to provide government job to every family. He said that the budget of Bihar is three lakh crores. If two-two and a half crore families have to be given jobs at minimum wages, then seven to nine lakh crores will be required. The question is where will this money come from.

Opposition is copying NDA government’s plans: Chirag Paswan

Chirag Paswan said that the NDA government had started schemes like ‘Jeevika Didi’ in Bihar, which are making women self-reliant today. He alleged that the parties of the Grand Alliance are copying the same schemes which were started by the NDA. He also said that if NDA comes to power, every person will be given a place according to his capacity. He said that we will give opportunities on the basis of merit and hard work and not on the basis of nepotism.

Yadav means Lalu family and Muslims just vote bank: Paswan

Chirag said that RJD’s politics revolves around limited family. Yadav means only Lalu family is left today. They see Muslims only as a vote bank. This thing has not been decided from today, it is implemented by Lalu Yadav from his political career. He has never considered Muslims as his family but only Yadavs as his family.

May there be happiness and prosperity in every family – Chirag

Chirag alleged that RJD supporters are creating violence and ruckus during the elections. He said that our candidate’s vehicle was attacked, it is condemnable. He told that he has supported independent candidate Ankit in Madaura. Regarding Chhath Puja, Chirag Paswan said that Chhath Maiya has given a lot without asking. My wish is that there should be happiness and prosperity in every family. Linking Chhath festival with the ‘great festival’ of democracy, he said that when one festival of Chhath ends, the second great festival of democracy i.e. elections is at its peak. We are entering the campaign with full enthusiasm and we are confident that the results will be pleasant for Bihar and the people of Bihar.
