Chirag paswan: After ‘Operation Sindoor’, disputed statements were made to one by one. While MP government minister and BJP leader Vijay Shah said objectionable talk about Colonel Sophia Qureshi, Madhya Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Deora made such a comment about the country’s army that there was a ruckus. Union Minister Chirag Paswan has reacted strongly to the statement of such leaders. Chirag Paswan has said that if the people of our party (leaders) had given such a statement, I would probably have dropped them out of the party for a lifetime with immediate effect.
Chirag Paswan reached Hajipur last Sunday (May 18, 2025). In a conversation with reporters here, he gave this statement. Chirag said that there is no one above the army. Today we are all people and only because of the army. We should bow down in front of our soldiers and in front of our soldiers.
He further said, “Those who are making statements, whether they are ministers of Madhya Pradesh or anyone who compare our soldiers with the family of the terrorist, this is a shameful statement. If the people of our party had given such a statement, then I would have probably dropped them out of the party for a lifetime with immediate effect.”
Chirag Paswan said, “I can only give suggestions as a coalition partner, but I definitely believe that our coalition and country are being led by the Prime Minister, and the Prime Minister’s thinking is ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ and ‘everyone’s faith’. We all have faith in the Prime Minister’s thinking.”
What did Jagdish Deora and Vijay Shah say?
During the training program of a civil defense volunteers held in Jabalpur, Deputy CM Jagdish Deora had said, “Today, the whole country, the army of the country and our soldiers are also at the feet of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.” Earlier, Vijay Shah had said about Colonel Sophia Qureshi, “The people who had desolate our daughters, PM Narendra Modi sent those chopped people to his sister and got them done in such a way.”
