CLAT 2026: The last date of application for Common Law Admission Test CLAT 2026 has been extended. The Consortium of National Law University has now extended the registration deadline till 7 November 2025 at 12 midnight. In such a situation, candidates can now apply by visiting the official website of the consortium till 7th November. In the notice issued by the Consortium, it has been said that the Executive Council of the Consortium of National Law University is happy to announce the extension of the last date for submission of CLAT 2026 online application.
Exams will be held on 7th December
CLAT 2026 exam will be conducted on December 7, 2025 in a single shift. The timing of the exam will be from 2 pm to 4 pm. This national level examination is conducted for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate law programs in 25 National Law Universities across the country. The extension of registration deadline has brought relief to those candidates who had not been able to complete the application process till now. They have now got extra time to prepare the necessary documents and submit the application without any mistakes.
How to apply?
- To apply for CLAT 2026, first go to consortiumofnlus.ac.in website.
- After this, click on CLAT 2026 Registration link on the home page.
- Now complete the registration by filling the requested information.
- After completing the registration, login and upload the application form and necessary documents.
- Now deposit the prescribed fees.
- After depositing the fees, submit the application and download the confirmation page and keep it.
What is the eligibility for CLAT 2026?
for UG course
- General and OBC category candidates must have at least 45 percent marks in 12th from a recognized board. Whereas for SC, ST and PWD candidates, it is necessary to have 12th pass with 40 percent.
- Apart from this, candidates appearing for class 12th examination from March to April 2026 can also apply.
for PG course
- At least 50 marks are required for General and OBC category candidates in LLB. Whereas for SC, ST and PWD candidates, it is necessary to pass with 45 percent marks.
- Candidates appearing for the exam in March or April 2026 are also eligible to apply, however, these candidates will have to submit the passing certificate at the time of admission.
