13 people have died in the blast near the Red Fort in Delhi, while about 20 people are injured and are undergoing treatment at Loknayak Hospital in Delhi. Meanwhile, on the connection between terrorism and Jammu and Kashmir, CM Omar Abdullah said, “One thing we have to keep in mind is that not every person in Jammu and Kashmir is a terrorist. Not every person in Jammu and Kashmir is with the terrorists. These are a few people who have always tried to spoil the peace and brotherhood here.”
He further said, “Unfortunately, when we start looking at every Jammu and Kashmir person and every Kashmiri Muslim in the same light and start giving the picture that every Kashmiri Muslim is a terrorist, then it becomes very difficult to keep people on the right track.”
Not only this, CM Omar Abdullah further said, “I feel that those who are guilty of this accident should be given strict punishment, but the innocent people should be kept out of this.”
