Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for highlighting the deep interest of the boys and girls of the state in ‘Mann Ki Baat’. He said that there is no shortage of talent among the youth, but they definitely lack opportunities.
CM Omar Abdullah wrote on the social media platform X, “Thank you for highlighting deep interest in all sports of boys and girls of Jammu and Kashmir. PM Modi ji does not lack talent or enthusiasm among the youth of Jammu and Kashmir, unfortunately he lacks opportunities and performances. ”

He further wrote, “The mention of the sportsmanship of the youth of Jammu and Kashmir will definitely increase their enthusiasm. I hope that the corporate world will also use its corporate social responsibility (CSR) fund to help in the development of the infrastructure of sports in Jammu and Kashmir.
What did PM Modi say in ‘Mann Ki Baat’?
PM Narendra Modi in ‘Mann Ki Baat’ praised the enthusiasm of sports among the youth of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that the first day-night cricket match held in Pulwama and ‘Khelo India Water Sports’ filled the youth. These events not only promoted the game, but also gave an opportunity to bring new talents at the local level.
