Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has reacted to the statement of Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar in which he has said that Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee should lead the ‘India Bloc’. Omar Abdullah has supported Rahul Gandhi as the leader of the opposition. He said what shortcoming has Rahul Gandhi kept while competing with BJP. He is a person who has always been targeting BJP. Always oppose BJP.
What else is needed from Rahul Gandhi- Omar Abdullah
Regarding the change of leadership in ‘India Block’, CM Omar Abdullah clearly said, “Rahul Gandhi targets BJP and government on every issue. This is the job of the leader of the opposition. Now what more do you want from Rahul Gandhi? Sometimes Congress does not get success in elections but the job of ‘India Block’ is to take on the government and oppose BJP. Someone tell me what flaw has Rahul Gandhi kept in it?

Mani Shankar Aiyar gave his personal opinion – Omar Abdullah
When he was asked whether you would support the change in leadership of ‘India Block’? On this, Jammu and Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah clearly said, “No such meeting has taken place in the India Block till now.” I don’t know from where this project is happening. Mani Shankar Iyer has given his personal opinion. They have the right to give their opinion. No one can say that Mani Shankar Aiyar Saheb does not have the right to express his views but ultimately when the decision is taken, it will be of ‘India Block’, everyone will talk together and till now there has been no talk about leadership in any meeting of ‘India Block’.
