In this, 10 citizens died. After this, Home Minister Amit Shah held a meeting. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha were present in this meeting. Shah has asked to ensure that the citizen population living on the border should be transported to safe places. Bunkers should be prepared for emergency conditions.
On the firing being done by Pakistan, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said that we have talked to all the DCs, where the civilian will need to be removed, they will be removed. This is not a game in our hands.

There was peace on the Line of Control. We do not have the situation made. None of our wanted war, influenced Jammu and Kashmir whatever attack in Jammu and Kashmir earlier. We would like the situation to be cured again, first Pakistan will have to calm the gun, then the gun will not run from here.
There was a terrorist attack on 22 April in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. 26 people died in this attack. After this, the army demolished 9 terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir by air strike on Wednesday (May 7).
