CM Rekha Gupta Death Threat: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has been arrested for threatening to kill him. The accused man has been arrested by a team of Special Staff of Delhi Police North West District from Ghaziabad. The accused has a law of advocacy and has got fake ID cards from him.
During interrogation, it has been found that he had made a threatening call in a state of intoxication. Police have also come to know in the investigation that the accused’s wife has left home after a quarrel, which is disturbed and drunk.
Accused not cooperating in inquiry
Police has informed that the accused is being questioned, but he is constantly trying to trick the police and is not directly responding.
Ghaziabad police got a call
In fact, a call came to the Ghaziabad police at around 11.00 pm on Thursday (June 5), in which an unknown person said that he would kill Rekha Gupta. On receiving the information of the phone, Ghaziabad and Delhi Police became active and traced the number and started finding the caller. However, in a short time the caller’s phone switched off and it became difficult to find out. After this, the police team took action all night and the next day and reached the accused on Saturday (June 7).
Delhi Police had informed that when this call came to the police control room of Ghaziabad, the team immediately informed the Delhi Police. A quick investigation revealed that the call was made from the Kotwali police station area of Ghaziabad. After this, Ghaziabad Police and Delhi Police together started investigation.
At the moment, the accused is being questioned and an attempt is being made to find out what was his intention, how did he threaten Rekha Gupta sitting on the post of CM of Delhi?
