Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court took a big decision in the alleged scam related to the long-running excise policy. The court acquitted 23 people accused in this case. These include former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, Telangana leader K. 20 other people including Kavita were involved.
After the decision in favor of Arvind Kejriwal, there is a wave of happiness among the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders, but the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders are raising questions. In the same sequence, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta’s reaction has also come.
‘If it was right then why did you withdraw the liquor policy?’- CM Rekha Gupta’s question
On the acquittal of Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia etc., CM Rekha Gupta said, “This could be the decision of the lower court right now. We all know that when this case was raised, how they tampered with the evidence. The data of 150 mobiles was destroyed.”
Not only this, CM Rekha Gupta further said, “I want to ask him (Arvind Kejriwal) that if he was right then why did he immediately withdraw the liquor policy? Can he say that the way he worked towards privatizing this entire sector is right? He was dishonest with the people of Delhi.
CM Rekha Gupta mentioned Sheeshmahal
Once again raising the issue of ‘Sheeshmahal’, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said, “Haven’t you been dishonest with the people of Delhi in the Sheeshmahal and school scams? The people of Delhi had already given justice and thrown you out of power in Delhi. I think that when the order of the Upper Court comes, there will be justice in that too.”
