Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Tuesday (November 25) inaugurated 70 new Ayushman Arogya Mandirs in different districts from Shakti Nagar. Model Town MLA Ashok Goyal was also present on this occasion.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta informed that facilities like regular health checkup, doctor consultation, essential medicines, maternal and child health services, vaccination, preventive healthcare, cervical cancer screening and vaccination are available free of cost in these Ayushman Arogya Mandirs. He said that Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Jan Aushadhi Kendra, Vaya Vandana Yojana and Ayushman Arogya Mandir together are building such a health system in Delhi, where better treatment is everyone’s right, medicines are affordable and modern facilities are within the reach of every citizen.

Target on previous government, face of Delhi changed

Addressing the program, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that in these 10 months, we have tried to change the face of Delhi. I came to this area many times and saw only broken roads. Despite being in government for so long over so many years, very little work was done in the previous governments. The city was left in this condition for years.

Question on mohalla clinic model

She asked the public, “In the last 10-11 years, did your previous MLAs ever come among you like this? Did they ever take such steps?” Taking aim at ‘Mohalla Clinics’, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said, “For years, previous governments promoted the idea of ‘Mohalla Clinics’, but how many people actually went to these clinics and saw them? They just put up propaganda posters in big halls or on roadsides with their big photographs on them. Those big photographs There was very little work, no doctors and no staff.
